   The award season is finally upon us, and we are so excited to have a look at the amazing projects that are being given the credit they deserve. From botanical masterpieces to classic long lasting styles, The Northern Design Awards and the Mixology North Awards are really highlighting the interior design talents that are based in the North.

   We wanted to acknowledge the amazing work that the finalists of these awards have created. As well as highlighting the wonderful venues that help bring Versital to life.

   The Northern Design Awards

   The most established Northern awards which many designers aspire to be shortlisted for. The 21st annual awards is being held this year in the wonderful Chester Cathedral, a stunning venue to acknowledge the amazing work created by Northern designers.

   The Forbidden Florist

   The Forbidden Florist by Dawnvale Group, rightfully has stepped into a shortlisted position. A venue which emulates botanical elegance, creating the perfect escape to a touch of nature and beauty. Blooming in the town of HaverfordWest and imagined by 4D Designs, this beautiful venue rightfully deserves to be acknowledged.

   The Manor Greasby

   Tibbats Abel re-imagined this wonderful centuries-old manor house with a contemporary but comfortable look, which is perfect for all seasons. Making the most of the unique features of the venue and adding complimentary textures and colours, this is certainly a venue that needs acknowledging for its innovative style.

   Mixology North Awards

   The Mixology North Awards are highly anticipated every year to recognise the best interior designers and their projects. Returning to Manchester Central, the event is certainly the place to be to congratulate the designers who are creating the very best projects and products.

   Clarence House

   The shift of working has truly been embraced by Jolie, with the hotelisation of this work space. Located in the heart of Manchester’s Albert Square, this work space redefines office spaces and brings life to a possibly dreary environment. This innovative design is certainly worth the recognition it is receiving!

   Cut & Craft

   Based in the historic venue in the Victoria Quarter, Leeds. Studio Two worked their magic on this venue. Incorporating the original features of the building and truly maximizing the beauty of the venue. Creating the perfect venue to spend your time, it is no wonder this venue is being acknowledged once again in the interior design world.

   Adding a touch of luxury with back-lit mirrors, complimented by a custom marble vanity top in an exclusive brown marble created in collaboration with designers Studio Two. The perfect addition to any washroom.

   

   CLASSIC MARBLE BAR TOP

   A marble bar top is the perfect way to add a touch of luxury to a classic venue. With the warm brown marble bar top perfectly complimenting the venue’s aesthetic. With all of the benefits Versital offers, as well as looking beautiful the top is also extremely practical being non-porous, highly stain resistant and hygienic bar top.

   Studio Two opted for a contemporary intricate edge detail to the bar top. This exclusive range of edge details offers designers more opportunities to add interest to their projects, whilst being practical and cost effective. This worked perfectly with the intricate panelled front to the bar.

   

   We are very excited to introduce our new range of edge details to our product. We are always speaking with designers and trying to come up with ways to create fun and creative design details to our product that are also practical and cost effective. The Manor has used the reverse waterfall edge which is cast and finished in the workshop ready to install. Being cast there are no joins to cause clients issues in the future.

   BLOOMING LOVELY

   Elements of nature have certainly entered into our venues and seeing as this is the Forbidden Florist, it is only right that stunning flowers bloom all over the venue.

   Featuring a floral wall, the perfect photo spot, essential for any instagrammable bar. Cascading flowers hanging above the lush green velvet booths complete this romantic backdrop.

   The floral elements beautifully bring nature into the venue.

   

   The collective vision was to develop a striking new dining destination which aims to create a magnetic point of difference through innovative design and elegant décor.

   To compliment the colourful floral interiors of the bar, 4D Designs opted to include a marble bar top with a twist. Opting for the exclusive Pink veined marble from Versital, with matching marble table tops. The blush pink was the perfect choice to pair with other shades within the venue.

   90’s Nostalgia

   Transporting us back to the nostalgic 90’s aesthetic, with a multitude of barbie pink shades and a sense of hyper-femininity. Creating the perfect maximalist micro-trend for all things feminine and nostalgic.
