Designed by the visionary team at Studio Two in Harrogate, this project is a stunning fusion of old and new, where carefully curated details create a truly immersive dining experience.

We are proud to have contributed to this extraordinary project by supplying the exquisite marble countertop, table tops, and washroom vanities in our premium cultured marble material, Versital. The chosen colour, Autumn Onyx, features a creamy base enriched with warm orange veining, adding an element of refined luxury to the space.

A ‘Hidden Gem’ Brought to Life

The concept for The Wild Orchard was inspired by the magic of a secret garden a place full of surprises that unfolds as guests journey through the restaurant. Taking cues from the client’s love for travel, Studio Two crafted a design that evokes the charm of outdoor lounges found overseas.

Hidden pockets of intimate dining areas offer an air of exclusivity, creating an atmosphere that is both inviting and elegant.

The challenge was to create a space that seamlessly transitions from a bright and welcoming breakfast spot catering to the adjoining hotel to an intimate and atmospheric setting for late evening dinners. This delicate balance was achieved through a careful layering of textures, lighting, and materials, blending modern sophistication with the building’s rich history.

The Role of Versital in the Design

Our Versital marble tops play a crucial role in defining the luxurious aesthetic of The Wild Orchard. The marble countertop is a true showstopper, featuring a custom DD drop detail.

Backlit Bar Edge Detail

The stand out design detail of the bar top has to be the stunning lit down-stand feature that creates a warm, inviting glow—enhancing the ambiance and making the bar a central focal point of the space. Autumn Onyx is a translucent marble which enables it to be backlit to create amazing effects using LED lighting strips and Panels.

Beyond the bar, our marble table tops and washroom vanities carry the same warmth and richness, ensuring a cohesive and immersive experience for guests. The Autumn Onyx finish not only provides durability but also brings a softness that complements the overall feminine edge of the design.
