How to Design a Bathroom from the Clients viewpoint
Q & A – How To Design a Bathroom From the Clients Point of View
With this latest bathroom we wanted to get an insight into how our client designed their bathroom, and how they came to choose their bathroom products, including the Versital shower wall panels and vanity top.
Our lovely client Charlotte Howarth from Buxton was kind enough to agree to an interview with us.
Gemma at Versital: Where did you get your ideas for the new bathroom?
Charlotte: My ideas and inspiration were in my head initially and then developed from searches on Google and Pinterest and many many magazines. I then put them all together and come up with the colours and design. I then took my ideas to our local building supply shop, who set about doing a plan.
V: What made you choose Versital?
C: We chose Versital as we had been round local stone warehouses and their panels were more like kitchen worktops (for thickness). They were also too heavy and too cold. So more internet searching and I found you! We loved all the colour options at Versital (spoilt for choice!) and the fact that it won’t spoil with water.
V: What bit of the bathroom are you most happy with the outcome?
C: The vanity unit using the Versital vanity top and splashback – this was a last minute addition when I found a beautiful picture of a similar one in a house in California. I managed to persuade my builders Martin & Patrick Wright to make the base for us.
I love interior design and I am always planning the next room! Our office is next…
V: What was your overall feeling about Versital now you have finished?
C: Versital is a fantastic product. It looks and feels so amazing. We love how easy it was to install and to cut out the relevant areas for basin/taps etc, the colour and the finish. It is so easy to clean. The courier who delivered the product was really helpful.
The Finished Look
This beautiful bathroom design is created using Versital shower wall panels and vanity top. Shower panels used in the shower area and behind the bath ordered made to measure to Charlotte’s chosen sizes. All panels in white marble style finish ‘Arabesque’.
Vanity top with seperate splash back made to measure to suite the Charlotte’s cabinet, also in ‘Arabesque’ white marble style finish – similar to Carrara Italian marble.
