Made in Britain – Quality Assurance
Versital is delighted to announce it’s membership of Made in Britain.
The Made in Britain collective mark unites the British manufacturing sector and helps consumers, buyers and specifiers identify products that are made in Britain. The official collective mark for British manufacturers is registered with UKIPO across 30 product classes.
Plaque of Quality
The unique Made in Britain mark is an easily recognisable sign associated with quality. The ultimate aim is for the plaque to become the main symbol of British produce, allowing customers to easily distinguish products made in the UK and reassuring them of their quality.

The Design
The symbolic mark was created by Kevin Lan and Miranda Bolter from the award-winning British design practice – The Partners.
Their aim was to offer a straight forward way to unite the manufacturing sector and provide customers, buyers and specifiers a simple way to identify which products had been made in the UK. The mark draws primarily from the flag of United Kingdom reinforcing the idea behind it.
What Do Customers Think?
Many British customers are concerned with the origin of their products. According to a survey from ‘Make it British’, consumers in the UK associate products made in Britain with quality and high value.
On average, when asked nearly half of consumers would be willing to pay more for a British produced goods. Customers also stated that they have more trust in a website that promotes their products as made in Britain.
