1. Home & Learn : Product Speed Dating and CPD

   During the last few months we have been looking at new ways to work and keep motivated. It’s a challenging time and we are working hard to find new ways to keep connected and bring the latest products to you.

   We are delighted to bring you our brand new ‘Home & Learn’ CPD Sessions.

   Join us from the comfort of your home or office via Teams along with some of the most innovative commercial supplier’s.

   ‘Home & Learn’ is a fortnightly session for interior designers, architects and specifiers taking place via Teams.

   Product ‘Speed Dating’

   During these sessions we will showcase the latest products and trends in the market with our ‘Speed dating’ Product Forums. A short snappy look at 7 products in 60 minutes.

   

   Don’t fall behind in your CPD’s

   We are also offering the opportunity to attend certified CPD training sessions to help you keep up with learning goals and earn CPD credits. Along with virtual sessions, we are offering pre-arranged samples of products posted to you direct to make training sessions as interactive and exciting as possible.

   Are All Surfaces Created Equal – 4th November 1pm

   Join us on the 4th of November at 1pm for our CPD ‘Are all Solid Surfaces Created Equal’.

   Learning Outcomes:

   1. Identify different types of solid Surface
   2. Clearly identify the benefits and drawbacks of each type
   3. Assess which type of solid surface is appropriate for the project/client need
   4. Be able to make a cost benefit analysis of different types of solid surface

2. Versital announced as finalist for top interior design award

   Luxury surface manufacturer, Versital is a finalist in the ‘Product of the Year: Surface’ category for the Mixology North Design Award 2016.

   Versital is delighted to announce that its signature ‘faux’ cultured marble surface material has been selected as a finalist for a prestigious design award.

   The Mixology Awards acknowledge the very best in design; awarding products that bring something truly unique to the industry.

   The shortlist was selected by a panel of judges made up of architects and industry experts. Finalists have been judged based on a criteria that considered factors such as sustainability, design originality, aesthetics, ease of use and commercial viability.

   “A Mixology Design award is the stamp of approval in the interior design and hospitality industry – so we couldn’t be more delighted to be a finalist for this design award.    The Mixology North Design Awards was created by the team behind the highly regarded design publication, Mix Interiors, to support and recognise the many dynamic brands within the interior design industry, regardless of their size. The winners will be announced on the 8th December 2016 in a ceremony at Manchester Central that will be attended by 700 members of the interior design community.

3. NEW BCFA Member!

   We are excited to announce that we are now a member of the British Contract Furnishing Association. (BCFA)

   We have been fortunate to work alongside many suppliers and clients of the highest reputation over the years.  We work hard to supply beautiful hand made solid surface products to the hospitality sector.  Only British companies of excellent standing are accepted into the association, so we were understandably delighted to be successful.

   Within the hospitality sector we supply a variety of solid surface products, including:

   • Bar Tops made to order

   • Table tops
   • Bespoke shower trays – supplying new build & refurnished hotels & apartments
   • Washroom vanity tops
   • Multiple bowl countertops
   • Wash troughs

   The BCFA has the highest principles which we also work to:

   • To encourage the promotion and observance of good, ethical business practice.

   • To maintain and enhance the reputation, standing and good name of the Association and its membership.
