    The Northern Design Awards brings together designers, retailers and property developers in a glittering celebration of Northern design and style.

    Judged by the best in the business, these awards serve to recognise excellence across the North.

    The Smart Home category joins the line-up of awards this year and judge Melanie Malcolm said “We have a great community of installation companies within the UK and I’m honoured to be able to judge this ever-changing and innovative category that highlights the best in the North of England”

    Shortlisted for the Northern Design Awards: Designer Maker

    Versital has been shortlisted for the category of Designer Maker. This category covers a wide range of range of products and talents from the North West and past winners include Bobo 1325, Bisca Staircases, Scabetti chandeliers and Diane Marsland Art and Interiors.

    As a manufacturer creating unique marble finishes for over 40 years, our designs are often inspired by nature – regularly modelling our marble finishes on real marbles. However, we aren’t limited to the constraints that are found in nature and can bring other elements into finishes you can’t find anywhere else.

    As a company, we do things differently. We are very much led by our clients in terms of our product offering, colour ways and design details. It is our designers and specifiers who help to bring Versital to life in the way they utilise the product.


    Stunning Projects

    We are very fortunate over the past few years to have worked on some stunning projects that have helped us to be shortlisted. There are two that stand out as examples of new products and used as case examples for our entry and being shortlisted.

    Townhouse at Harrods & Kensington: designed by FormRoom

    The Townhouse franchise is now the UK’s leading nail care salon brand and growing fast. We are delighted to be involved in such as prestigious brand and store, creating a timeless marble used throughout the salons in the public areas. Both beautiful and practical.

    Darley’s in Derbyshire: designed by Faber

    We love the combination of traditional style and modern materials that really make the most of this venue and the natural beauty of it’s surroundings. Opting for one of the brand new under edge details for the bar top in the Double D drop detail.

    Studio Two: Cut and Craft York

    Featuring the unique pink marble Rock N Rose and brand new under edge details in a ‘Reverse Waterfall’ for an art deco inspired feel.

    JMDA : The Cliff at Sandbanks

    Our exclusive metallic marble Gold Stratos was chosen for the bar tops throughout this venue.
