About the Restaurant and Bar Design Award
One of the largest and most prestigious awards within the hospitality industry, the Restaurant and Bar Design Award is a yearly celebration of exceptional people and projects within the sector. The Restaurant and Bar Design Awards include a broad range of venues and businesses encompassing everything from burger vans, all the way to Michelin starred establishments, as well as completely new and modern concepts like pop-ups.
Eleven Years of Recognition
The award became one of the industry’s finest over 11 consecutive years running. It attracts some of the best known names commercially and domestically. The coverage for the event includes likes of Elle Home, Vogue Living, Dezeen, Ad Magazine and many more.
Over the years judges have included industry giants such as editor in chief of Wallpaper magazine, Marcus Wareing and Thomas Heatherwick. The final ceremony is attended by not only crème de la crème of hospitality, but also include global personalities from design, lifestyle and media. Globally the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards are followed by over 40,000 architects and industry professionals, making the recognition of being shortlisted a real achievement.

Unlike many similar events, the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards ceremony is a truly global affair. Entries for the categories come from over 70 countries, making for tough competition! Winners selected have to offer something really different to stand out from the crowd.

VIVI
Vivi is one of London’s amazing new restaurant developments with a sophisticated, vibe and polished look. Created by rhubarb, the restaurant draws inspiration from retro designs and 70’s styles. The venue is also located in London’s one of the most iconic buildings of the sixties: The Centre Point, which matches the personality of the space perfectly.
From the moment we set our eyes on fist images of the design of the restaurant we fell in love with the look! The beautiful modern style with a retro twist is an innovative and one of a kind design. The venue features metal banded table tops from Versital, which add a touch of glamour to the whole venue.
Nocturnal Animals
Created by The Wilderness, Nocturnal Animals is a restaurant and bar with a modern, daring feel. The restaurant offers its customers a taste of fine British cuisine, while the bar serves one of the best cocktails in the city. The dark colour palette and the intriguing design of the venue makes it a great contestant for the award. Versital supplied custom made bar tops in the unique blue marble finish ‘Stratos’.
