Versital Marble Bar Tops specified in Brand New Restaurant Renovation
Trendy Cocktail and Restaurant Mcr42 Opened in Manchester
Mcr42 is the latest in the Tea42 franchise to open this summer. Located in the city’s trendy Village district, it offers a mixture of trendy after work cocktails, light bites, afternoon tea and a fabulous Sunday lunch!
After the success of Tea42 located in Piccadilly Gardens, this latest restaurant has gotten off to a great start with a successful Pride Carnival Weekend. Being located just off Canal street it is perfectly located to attract a cosmopolitan mix of clients, from students, to office workers and tourists.
Versital Marble Bar Tops Specified
Versital was delighted to be specified in this beautifully refurbished bar and restaurant for both the bar tops and table tops. Taking a twist on the theme of the previous venue, this time the colour scheme featured grey, soft pink, with a flash of hot pink.
Marble Table Tops and Marble Bar Tops
On the ground floor the scheme was kept light and modern with a clean Carrara style white marble look for the marble bar tops and table tops using Versital faux marble finish ‘Arabesque’.
“The original venue used real marble, but following problems with staining and cleaning, they wanted a different material. They decided to opt for a waterproof and stain resistant material that looked as good as the real thing, but would be a practical alternative. Versital faux marble bar tops ‘Arabesque’ is a great alternative to Carrara marble, and being hand-made it is a very good imitation for the natural product, but without any of the problems”
Gemma Stockberger – Versital
Bar Tops Made to order
Bar tops were ordered to size to suit designs supplied by the architect, and the tables were a mixture of sizes to suit different cover numbers.
Bespoke Marble Table Tops
Mcr42 opted for bespoke table top sizes to suit their venue, but there are also a large range of standard sizes available to suit many different cover options.
Ground Floor Colour scheme
The basement colour scheme was a darker sexier version of the upstairs, with glamorous atmospheric lighting, black marble table tops and marble bar tops in ‘Norvein’, set off by copper bar panels.
