   Shower flooring – Bespoke shower trays

   Wet Room Walls – Shower Panels

   In a wetroom it is essential that the walls are 100% waterproof. To save on messy waterproofing and fiddly tiles with unattractive grouting, choose shower panels that are made to measure to the size that you need.

   Make sure you panel right to the ceiling if you plan on hosing down the whole bathroom when cleaning to save on water ingress.

   Unlike natural stone tiles need to be resealed regularly (quite a big job when all your walls are covered), Versital does not need to be resealed and will remain waterproof for its lifetime.

   Keep Water Contained

   It’s always a good idea to raise the lip of your bathroom threshold by 5mm. This will ensure that water is contained for longer within your bathroom in the event that the shower drain becomes blocked or runs

   Underfloor heating is a great option in a bathroom wetroom to dry out the wet areas quickly.

   Step By Step To Creating A Template

   If you wish to have a shower tray made to a precise shape or size, a template is usually the best way to ensure a perfect fit for the bathroom. Follow this step by step guide to help you create the perfect bespoke shower tray for your bathroom area.

   Tools required:

   Pencil
   Maker pen
   Tape measure
   Heavy cardboard/hardwood

   Important Tips Before You Start

   A few important tips before we start. It is important to make the template from heavy cardboard or hardboard. It is also important to note that the template should be full sized and 100% accurate to the shower tray you want to receive back.

   1. Measure

   Measure out all dimensions of the item and draw the template onto the card using pencil.

   2. Check- Measure!

   Double check your measurements! Remember the phrase ‘Measure twice cut once’. Once you are happy with the dimensions and shape, cut the template out.

   3. Place Template In Location

   Double check in the required position. i.e. place the template into the position of the new bespoke shower tray and check it is correct. If not make another one!

   4. Mark Important Information

   Mark on the template as much information as possible, e.g. Seen edges, wall, shower waste positions, any cut-outs. Use a marker pen to ensure the information is seen clearly.

   5. Post to us and wait for your new made to measure shower tray!

   Beautiful Home Bathroom Design From Langley Interiors

   Bathrooms come in all shapes and sizes. Designers are often faced with the challenge of making the most of the space they have with clever design.  Being made to measure, Versital can really help designers with this. However, this bathroom design by Langley Interiors in Bolton did not have a problem with space!

   In this bathroom installation, Langley’s wanted to make the best use of space in a large bathroom without it feeling cluttered with equipment.  The finished design feels spacious, bright and has all the features our client wanted in their bathroom. Versital bathroom surfaces have been used throughout.
